Get the tools and confidence to take the next step in your career

I Manage My Music is a day long workshop specifically tailored to the needs of the self-managed artist. Our focus is to give participants the tools and confidence to take the next steps in their careers.

How it works

Workshop numbers are limited to ensure everyone is given the focus and attention they deserve.

We use your existing music projects as case studies to examine business models and creative ideas that can help you move forward into actions that are achievable, sustainable and financially realistic.

By the end of the workshop you'll have a plan of action –
the business model you apply to your career is as important as
the song.

Learn from experienced keynote speakers

I Manage My Music was founded in 2011 by workshop facilitator and musician Jen Cloher to assist self-managed artists with the challenges of creating and releasing music in Australia. After graduating from acting at NIDA, Jen decided to make music. In 2006 she released her debut album Dead Wood Falls garnering an ARIA nomination for Best Female Artist. in 2013 her third album In Blood Memory was shortlisted for Australia’s most prestigious music award The Australian Music Prize. Jen's most recent self-titled album has garnered critical praise around the world, where she has found an eager audience waiting for her. When not touring and releasing her own music Jen can be found working at Milk! Records the label started by Courtney Barnett that is now home to many.
