How it Works
Each Masterclass will be an in-depth exploration of an album, song or career as a case study. We’ll have artists and members of their team talk about the ideas that shaped each release with founder Jen Cloher facilitating the online sessions.
I Manage My Music was founded in 2011 by workshop facilitator and musician Jen Cloher to assist self-managed artists with the challenges of creating and releasing music in Australia. After graduating from acting at NIDA, Jen released her debut album Dead Wood Falls garnering an ARIA nomination for Best Female Artist. She has twice been shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize, won Best Independent Artist at the AIR Awards and was crowned Double J’s Artist of the Year in 2017.
Jen's most recent self-titled album has receieved critical praise around the world, where she has found an eager audience waiting for her. Jen co-founded independent Melbourne label Milk! Records (Courtney Barnett, Hand Habits, Tiny Ruins) which she managed from 2012-2019.
